Licensed Independent Social Worker

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I'm Charlotte Silver, a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) based in Columbus, Ohio, offering therapy to individuals and couples. I've been in the field since 2022. I find inspiration to do this meaningful work from travel, mindfulness training, and lived experiences that help me relate to my clients.

Training & Credentials

I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from The Ohio State University and am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with specialized training in EMDR therapy, CBT, Somatic Therapy, and couples counseling. I am committed to ongoing learning and to providing care that is informed, respectful, and responsive.

My Approach

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation between two people — one grounded in trust, curiosity, and care. I draw from evidence-based modalities and person-focused care. I tailor our work together to what fits you, your story, and your goals.

Who I Work With

I work with adults, teenagers, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the lingering effects of trauma. I also offer couples' counseling for partners who want to communicate more clearly, repair after rupture, or simply deepen their connection.
